In order to increase awareness of the supplements sold on the EC site, we decided to use Instagram as part of our social media management. By using social media, we aimed to increase awareness of the product and improve engagement with followers.
Increasing product awareness
We were focusing on sales on our EC site, but there were many competitors, and we were struggling to acquire new customers. Therefore, we decided to strengthen our information dissemination on social media in order to reach a wider target audience.
Our Solution
To increase awareness of the supplement, IGNITE proposed using Instagram. We posted one post every day, introducing the product's features and benefits to attract the interest of followers. Furthermore, by encouraging followers to tag their posts, we increased user engagement with the posts and worked to expand awareness of the product. We created text that would attract the interest of the target audience, along with attractive photos and videos, and increased exposure by effectively utilizing hashtags.
Purchase process via social media
Although the number of people accessing the Instagram account was increasing, it was difficult to convert this into purchases, as there was no effective way of directing people to the e-commerce site.
Our Solution
By running a free monthly distribution campaign, we aimed to attract users' interest and encourage them to share the campaign on social networking sites. For example, we designed a system that would make it easy for followers to make a purchase, such as by including links to the product purchase page in posts or distributing coupons in stories. We also issued coupon codes that could be used on the EC site, and rolled out measures to encourage purchases via Instagram.
Building a system that allows customers to purchase without spending advertising costs
We wanted to acquire followers on an ongoing basis without spending advertising costs and link this to sales.

We carried out influencer marketing, aiming to acquire new customers by having influential influencers promote our products. We also actively communicated with them, replying to comments and sending direct messages to increase engagement with their followers.

Increase in Instagram followers and product awareness
The number of followers increased from around 500 at the start of the campaign to over 1,800, more than triple the number, after six months. This led to an increase in product awareness and an increase in the number of visits to the EC site.
Promotion of purchasing desire through the effect of the free distribution campaign
There were over 100 applicants for the free distribution campaign, and we were able to increase the purchasing desire of our followers. In addition, the number of people who experienced the product through the campaign increased, and we were able to expect the effect of spreading through word of mouth.
Improving engagement through tagged posts
Approximately 60% of followers participated in the campaign, which encouraged them to tag posts, and engagement improved. This initiative helped to bring the brand closer to its followers, and fostered a sense of attachment and empathy towards the brand. This also contributed to an increase in repeat customers.
